TPOD video
« on: February 07, 2018, 10:48:13 AM »
Here's a link to the VFA-113 video by JAR about using the TPOD that I mentioned last night.

It's a short video (2:40) that takes you through all the steps.

Maybe not as good as one-on-one Apache training, but seems to be a really good summary.

Takes a little practice to get your system down, but once you have your routine - easy peasy... Hopefully buddy laze is nothing more then punching in the Laze code...

Yeah I tried GBU-12s and the laser for the first time tonight. And you're right, the first time through its seems like a daunting number of steps, but it starts to make sense.  I'm sure I'll find plenty of ways to screw it up before I get comfortable with it though.  :icon_biggrin:

I watched the video again early this morning and made a check list, then set up a real quick mission to try it out and got a hit the first drop.
