2022 Easter Egg(s)?
« on: December 31, 2021, 01:58:43 PM »
Maybe I am late to this party but did anyone else notice the "Bagram AB" reference in the "DCS 2022 and Beyond" Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtmGCYeipas)?  After the ending credits, it flashes a set of coordinates that directly translate to Bagram AB, Afghanistan.  Some good times happening on that map, for sure.

Just past that egg, there is a flash of a HUD reticle that looks dangerously close to a F-4E Gunsight.

Good catch on both.  I stopped watching when it went dark.  I did spend too much time trying to analyze if the Forrestal was getting Super Carrier features (sadly looks static) and drooling over the A-6.

Yeah - the A-6 is supposed to come in the AI variant first so until that happens, I won't get too excited.  But, F-4 and A-6 in missions together?  Come on!!!!

I have very little interest in the F-4 unless it comes with a naval variant. The thought of an A-6 makes me wet!!  :jerk:

I mean, yeah, it would be nice to get the "J" variant as well.

It says F-4E but it sure looks like a hook at :51.

The AIr force had a hook for runway emergency gear.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, I believe that it was the same hook that the Navy's F-4 had installed.

But to answer your original question, yes, you were late to the party, as usual  (:-)
