You can certainly tell it is a project of passion... They keep going on like this you never know they may pick up 3rd party status..

No, I don't think that will happen. I believe that I have seen something somewhere in the forums about Douglas - or whomever owns them now - not wanting to allow the use of their handy work in a flight sim for less than a large fortune. As long as it is put out as freeware, there is nothing they can do about it. I always thought that as long as you don't mention their name, you could even put it out there commercially but I guess not.

Features NOT Included in the Community A-4
- Operational Radio
- Air to Air Refueling (Dependent on Radio)
- Buddy Air to Air Refueling
- Non-boresight AIM-9 Launch
- F/A-18 Fidelity Carrier Takeoff
- Nuclear Weapons Deployment

No air to air refueling is a huge disappointment! I am confident thought that they will eventually get it figured out. I mean, if the mod community was able to get the F/A-18C to tank, I'm sure there is a solution for this one
I wonder what they mean by "Operational Radio"?? Hitting the \ key doesn't bring up the comms menu? If that is true, it means that the whole DCS world will not recognize the Scooter as even being in the game. No AWACS, no calls to the carrier to get them to turn on the lights, etc.

I took that as in the first release...maybe wishful thinking but eventually I'm sure it could be hammered in there.  Heck, maybe ED will help them out?

Doesnt look like I'll be getting this when it's released. Its not complete enough for me to want to fly it.

Bomb load out alone should be making everyone salivate.
