Gruden's Grinder
« on: May 14, 2016, 04:48:08 PM »
I could have gone and get 10 dozen minnows and tear up the White Perch (WP are running hot now) but I wanted to catch crappie with the long lines. It was a real (Gruden Grinder). The crappie were scattered out suspended 15 to 20 feet. Lines in Water 7:00 out at 11:00. Caught the usual dinks and slimers. I kept some for fish fry. Only Crappie 10 inch or above go in my boat. White perch I will take them all day long. One funny note is when I was bringing in my rods I went to grab the last pole in water and bam the pole had a crappie on it. Brought him in for the last one. Never had that happen before.
