Tomcat Guide
« on: April 18, 2019, 12:13:04 AM »
Since Chuck didn't make an in depth guide for the Tomcat, I figured to learn it better I'd have a whack at it.  This is still very WIP, full of wrongness and piss poor spelling I'm sure.  But, if it can be helpful as I keep hackin away at it then great.  I'll keep adding to it as I feel inspired to do so and I'll leave updates here as it happens.  Feel free to give feedback or suggestions that you think could help.

-=NOTE=-
Until I get closer to done it's best to download it directly instead of scrolling in Dropbox.  Gotta find a way to optimize it more.

MD,

I have the complete procedure down for the use of the Lantrin pod in dropping LGBs if you want to add it to this.  I can help you also if you like

Sweet, yes please!  I'd like to make this as comprehensive as possible but it takes an enormous amount of time to do it.  Any help offered I'll use and abuse!

I am particularly interested in how, as a single pilot, do I employ the AIM-7's and AIM-54's. What steps are required to get Jester to find and lock up a target and then kill it?

Fantastic work MD.  I can't imagine how long it took to put this together.
I'd be in the same boat as Razor .... I can't do sh*t except for drop dumb bombs (and poorly at that)

Lantrin procedure ready for kneeboard. You have to go back and forth from front and rear seat (unless human RIO is with you).  Deactivate jester from front before you start.   Ill work on single player sparrow and PH with jester.

It's mostly done now!  Feel free to take a gander, does it make sense, flow ok etc?  Lasoldier has really helped get a lot of the nitty gritty stuff, especially the RIO stuff.

I think I did, sorry.  Full release is here:  https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=241254  but Chuck eventually did a full guide that's just shy of 1000% better:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aRyV_XeqxtPXLirqcDokegnzV5Ljfjoo/view
