I added the additional fan in the back and this is what I get doing patterns around the boat.

I think your temps are pretty good.   Low 70s c is nothing.  Most cpus Tmax is like 95c or more and that is throttling temp.   I wouldn’t worry about it

I use MSI Afterburner because that's what I use to overclock my GPU.  It gives both CPU and GPU temps.

My CPU runs about 65 degc and the GPU runs around 72 degc with the fans going about 90%.  I had to put a water cooler on my CPU because the temps were getting into the eighties.

I've been tweeking fan settings and have it down pretty good.  Running 98.6F on the MB and 102.4F on the CPU ( 37 & 39 C) before running the game .  While flying its around 100F on the MB and 161F on the CPU (38 & 72 C).

Will check out hwinfo.  Thank you.

I use hwinfo.  It’s pretty comprehensive.  If you CPU is running under 80c you should be fine.  I find the temp of my room has a big difference in it also.  You can also define your fans on the GPU as well as your general fans to spin up on temp increases.  Mine has a program that lets me do my gpu fans and set a custom fan curve.  I’d say if you higher than 80 you might want to check your cpu fan seating and conductive application on your cpu.  With a liquid cooler you shouldn’t be going that high with DCS.

I got the new gamer put together.  Everything seems to be in order but I feel like it might be running a bit too hot while running DCS.  Do you guys have any preference on software that tracks temperatures?

Currently has three fans bring air in from the front and two up through the liquid cooler radiator.  I think I should add another to push air out the back.

Burt then there is this :)  SO NO its not.

April Fools! - SRS is not shutting down

My Discord DMs are getting a little bit full now - so probably worth coming clean for those that have fallen for it.

SRS is not sold, nor is it shutting down, nor will it ever be!

Alas I am not retiring to an island with piles of  and my own personal Apache display team as nice as that would be...

SRS is and will always be free and open source - and the next release is planned soon.

You can always follow progress in the feedback-and-dev-updates channel as well as request features in feature-requests

  Happy April Fools!

I'll think of a better one next year

Thanks for the support and have a good weekend!
