Here are a few pics I have taken over our last few Squad Nights. Most of these are with FlyGuy, Apache, Razor, MD, and a couple of others.
Hope you all enjoy!

Round 2.
-
And Round 3.
-
And this small set here is from tonight.
Sorry that the resolution in the pics looks so bad, my screen resolution is crazy high and causes the photos to be like 14-16MB with each one. The only way I can post them to our forum is to downsize them considerably.
Anyway, enjoy!

Here are some pics from my Detachment to NAS Fallon last month. Pics include a shot of me on the C-40 taking off from Whidbey, a KC-10 doing some instrument work at NAS Fallon, VAQ-142 Growlers sitting on the line, VFA-101 and VFA-125 F-35C on the ramp at Fallon and a E-2D Hawkeye taxiing in to parking.
-
This round has an F-5 recovering at Fallon with a wonderful paint scheme, a flight of three Super Hornet inbound for the break, one Hornet and two F-35C inbound, a F-35 taxiing up behind our line of jets, and a pic of our jets parked on the line. This Detachment I was on was a three squadron joint training evolution. As you can see from the picture jets from VAQ-136 (my squadron), VAQ-134, and VAQ-142.
-
First pic shows us launching jets on first go of the morning, three photos of our jets carrying live HARM AGM-88 for a live missile shoot, and the final pic showing the road that took us up to 9,287ft to the top of Fairview Peak which is what overlooks the Bravo-17 live fire range and A2A airspace.

If you ever head out to Fallon and have some free time be sure to go to Dixie Valley. They have a bunch of old military equipment out there that you can just walk right up to and mess around in. Very cool stuff, it's a training area for aircrew to spot targets on the ground to build up the knowledge of what things look like from altitude. Just a cool place to see. Also have one picture of part of the B-17 range before heading up Fairview Peak.

Last five pics showing B-17 Range from the top of Fairview Peak. A wonderful sight from this altitude looking around the entire area and of course the range. This is where I was when the A2A engagement happened that I caught on video. I am going to try and post that someplace.

Here are the videos of that Dog Fight when I was at the top of Fairview Peak, lasted about 2 min total. First video is the initial FIGHTS ON at High Altitude, but you will see in the second video how they had bleed each other all the way down to low level. Notice the incredible handling characteristics on the Super Hornet at slow speeds.
