Moving Back to SSD??
« on: March 02, 2018, 11:07:20 AM »
I have finally gotten about 122GB of free space on my SSD and would like to move my 2.5 OpenBeta back over to the SSD. My question is this: do I just download 2.5 off of the DCS website onto my SSD (C drive)? Will it then take everything it needs from the existing 2.5 that is on my E drive?

it "should".     When I put 2.5 on my spin drive, it didn't take anything from my SSD.  Kind of a pain as it downloaded 90 some gb.   And that was the day of the release, so speeds are slow.    Now-a-days, the speeds should be much better.
There really is only one way to do it though, and that's just install if off of their site.  We don't want that copy and paste mess like what happened last time.
