:Rofl One of the guys that was in Rat Patrol used to be my Mom's hair dresser before he "ran off to Hollywood" from Colorado Springs! He was also the guy that was in "Bullet" giving McQueen some information outside of the restaurant - a real greasy looking guy.

I found the complete series DVD of Rat Patrol in Walmart a few years back. Yea I bought it   :toothy3:

I remember in 3rd grade we had a "whats your favorite show" discussion. All of the girls and many of the boys were for "Brady Bunch". I was completely disgusted as I hated that show and told the teacher as much. I was the only one that said Combat or the Rat Patrol. Told the teacher that maybe if Sergeant Saunders was to kill some Krauts that were attacking the the Bradys maybe that would make the show worth watching.... she snickered but then scolded me. Nowadays I would have gotten a suspension and referral to the school psychiatrist. Funny thing was I didn't even know why they were called Krauts. Heard it from my Grandpa who absolutely despised the Germans (his brother was killed in the Hurtgen Forrest in 1944).

Well all episodes of Combat, Rat Patrol and 12 O'Clock high are on Youtube.  Found them last night.

Loved Rat Patrol. Was the only show Dad let we stay up late to watch with him when it was in syndication.
I found it again on Netflix a while back and watched it all over again.
Good times!
