Here's a link to a post in the DCS forums that describes the real-world procedures for an A-10 overhead pattern. It's an excerpt from USAF training documentation. It goes into a lot of detail about airspeeds, configuration, and references points.

I'd suggest this be the standard way we enter the pattern and land in the A-10. (It looks cool too!)

If you want to really get into it. The Nevada plates was just released 3 days ago. The real approach plates for Nellis and Creech.

I like the overhead approach and it falls in place for the most part of what we have been doing all these years..
