Problem using Mission Builder
« on: April 23, 2012, 06:46:38 AM »
Hoping someone else has experienced this problem and can advise how to correct.  Whenever I go to full mission builder I am unable to see any maps or able to use any of the tools.  If I select file the only option is Exit which will not exit the game.  The only way for me to exit  is to use Task Manager to abort the program.  I also tried removing the settings from JSMGE and switching to Windowed Mode.  Any ideas how to correct?

So, after disabling all the jsgme mods, it still doesn't work? I think you have to have something enabled on the right side, such as the default game, or HSFX5.0. I can say that one little mod that I had installed before used to mess with my FMB a bit. It would prevent me from being able to select an object in the 3D view. Very frustrating! I hope you get this figured out Thud.

It's an issue with the bldconfig file. I bet if you open yours it's blank. Ask me how I know... :toothy3:

Try dropping mine in your main Il2 folder and see if it works. Back up yours up first of course.

Hooooly Crap!  Direct Hit, Target destroyed.  That was it Hatter.  Mine was empty so I replaced it with yours and now it works!!  Thank you.

Yeah, I don't know how it happens, but something ate my config.ini and bldconfi files one day. The same thing happened when I opened the FMB.

I was about to delete my Il2 when I looked in the files and found them blank. It's probably a good idea to have them backed up (I know I do now).

another great idea is to back up your missions too.................. nothing like the feeling of when you have spent hours populating a map, putting up flights, testing to make sure everything works correctly, and then Brain Fart and delete it by accident, or by no fault of your own.
