Old newsreel cast:

I am working on a series of missions to re-enact Hailstone. First will be fighter sweeps to establish air superiority. Then will be attacks against shipping and airfields.

Also on the Enterprise Battle 360 series one of the episodes is about Hailstone.

Another very good read is "The Buzzard Brigade  Torpedo Squadron Ten at War" by Stephan L. Moore with W. Shinneman and R. Gruebel. It covers the history of VT-10 from Guadalcanal to Okinawa. It goes into great detail about their development of tactics for the use of radar for night bombing and torpedo attacks and specifically during the night raids on Truk Lagoon. A really good read!
