Map Building help!
« on: October 14, 2011, 02:50:31 PM »
I used to be really involved in map making but have not done so in a while. Now for some reason it will not let me place objects on the map. I select the object. for instance a stationary ship (liquid cargo carrier) but when I click on the map (Ctrl plus left click) nothing shows up. I tried with different object but Nada, Zilch, nothing happens... nothing happens!! Help!!

EDIT: It will let me place regular ships that are moving but will not let me place stationary ships. Any ideas? Trying to save it as a single player at this point.

Disable "AG51_Standard_v3.0" switch in switcher. Just run mission builder with "HSFX history mod" on, should work fine.

That is correct, however if we decide to run the mission with our AG51_Standard_v3.0 enabled, none of those stationary ships will show up in the mission. Glider, I suggest that you use regular ships and just give them a very short waypoint with a very slow speed. They will all be stationary by the time we show up to blow them to hell!

Quick question.

Last night I reconfigured a Panther Landing Mission with a TBM and didn't disable JGSME.  Would that have affected my game like it did today to the point of a total reinstall?

No. The only way the jsgme is going to screw you up is if you make changes to it while you have the game booted up.
