[Mod] AG-51 DeviceLink 2.2 for HSFX 6

In the stock game, most of the DeviceLink functions do not work in a multiplayer mission. This mod removes that restriction. Any DeviceLink function that works off-line will also work on-line.

To install, extract the 'AG-51 DeviceLink 2.2 for HSFX 6' folder in the rar file to the 'jsgmemods' folder of your game. Then open JSGME and activate the mod (move it to the list on the right).

Compatible with HSFX 6.0+. It may work with other modded versions of IL-2, but it has only been tested with HSFX 6.

Fireball I am still having no luck with this. My Devicelink works in HSFX 5 but not 6?

Glider, are the problems related to using the mod? Does DeviceLink work for you on HSFX 6without the mod, or are you having problems getting DeviceLink to work at all with HSFX 6?

I still have the old mod, I haven't tried it online, Will it no work in HSFX?

There was one squad that had been using DeviceLink 2.1 mod with HSFX 5 (I believe). When they switched to HSFX 6 the mod didn't work. So, I made 2.2 specifically for HSFX 6. They tried that and said it worked fine.

So, the short answer...the old version probably won't work in HSFX 6.

Fireball, I believe he downloaded this new version after telling him about it lastnight. This post was made after I told him about the new version so assume this new version isn't working for him.


Do you have to add lines to you conf.ini for these to work??? Like in the past?

Yep I used HSFX 5 however it came (never installed a DeviceLink mod for it). Now with HSFX 6 it doesnt work so i downloaded the new mod you made and still does not work. Online or offline it does not matter doesnt work with either.

Glider, I'd recommend trying to get it to work first without the mod on HSFX 6 or straight IL-2 4.11.1. If it doesn't work without the mod, there's not much chance it will work with the mod.

Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be much help with that. I don't use DeviceLink myself. I'm not sure if Hawg has got it working with his pit under HSFX 6 yet or not.

Loaded it up and tested on cobraJ's server, everything works 100%  thanks Fireball!!!

Hey Glider if your still having problems let me know and Ill help ya out.

Did you copy your config to the HSFX install?  Remember you need to have that line at the end of the config with the IP address if your exporting to a 2nd PC.

It's gonna be a few weeks before I get a chance to go through these mods and see what updating needs to be done. I think DeviceLink has a very good chance of working in HSFX 7 as-is without any updating. Give it a shot. :)

Well airsrtike pro for my x52 pro seems to not be working or out of date and is the onlything I know how to use with devicelink.  So its kinda a moot point.
