It appears that Magic Carpet has finally come to the fleet in the form of "Precision Landing Mode". https://news.usni.org/2021/02/08/navy-brings-precision-landing-mode-carrier-landing-assist-tool-to-new-fighter-pilots  I sure wish we could get that in the legacy Hornets!!  :Rofl

Yeah, God forbid that the general public ever finds out about this because that will be the end of the Naval Aviator's mystique. He will acyually have to begin competeing with the rest of the aviation community for the favors of a lady if he ever wants to get laid again!!  :Rofl
