Title: For Our Next Saturday Night Coop....
Post by: AG-51_Razor on January 20, 2019, 06:46:06 PM
How would you feel about having to tank at night? If there is a full moon out, it really is quite bright but I'm not going to place folks in a position where they are going to be screwed from the get-go if they can't do it. I will say that, for those of you that are a little reluctant to be put in that position, the alternative is, you'd better be able to do it in the daylight. :BangHead:

I have learned from Fireball that, we can launch from 2 carriers but all of us in Hornets in the mission will be able to use his Carrier Ops script during the recovery. We all just need to recover on the same boat is all.

I am planning to include helicopters and Harriers in this but it would be nice to have an idea who plans to participate and in which airframe. Sabot, what is the date for our next get together? I'm pretty sure it is going to be in February, just not sure of the date. It would be cool if we could commit to it way in advance and train for it.

I have asked the Horsemen the same question and am waiting for their feed back. This will be a mission based in the Persian Gulf and is primarily built around Harriers, Hornets and helicopters. If there are any other requests for a specific air frame, speak up now please.

I would be happy with a Huey or Hornet.  I am fine with night ops either way.

I'm in for the 23rd. However, I have issues tanking at night with VR. I will try to get it adjusted before then but may go swimming.

No worries Turnip. The sun will be up, or just coming above the horizon by the time you get to the tanker.   You should take a look at our Squad Operations forum and find the Saturday 23 Feb signup. I have put you down as an IN.

Transporting a SEAL team into the target area for a BDA and/or delivering the coups de grad.

Thank you for the huey role. Thouroughly enjoyed it. Flying low and slow at that time of day was awesome.
