Post by: AG-51_Bulldog on February 20, 2017, 11:05:43 AM: I am now using 2 monitors, but the 2nd is only used for accessories such as TS, Video, Starting Platcam, or even TacView Live when I can get it to work. As far as using a second monitor for pilot options there is some Lua set up and so-forth I believe that needs to be manipulated, all depending on what and how your trying to set it up!!

Cougar MFD's double sided foam taped to cheap monitor...works very well for aircraft control. I just have the different aircraft MFD options graphics set up in a PDF file and scroll through the pages to change which aircraft controls are being displayed and whatever other info I want handy.

I just so happen to have a spare monitor taking up space in my man cave that could maybe do the same thing. Talk to me GOOSE!!

Post by: Beagle on March 10, 2017, 08:22:40 PM: SO I thought I remember seeing that you can actually configure the MFD's to appear on another screen within DCS itself. this might apply to your setup as well, for the 'real' MFD's in game. (static ones are just a plus of course). Going to find and link it if i can.

I haven't done it in a while so may have to tweak some stuff if any related files have changed, but I can help anyone set it up if they want to try it. Be advised that it will put more load on your graphics card.

I'm thinking maybe primer gray ought to do it.

On second thought, it would add an awful lot of weight to that end of the stick and you'd probably never be able to let go for fear of entering autorotation!! :tongue3:
