Title: Their Finest Hour

(moved this from the end of another thread.)

This vid was one of the best movies I ever spent time on. A couple months in the making, with MD44's help in flying some of the aircraft.

The English Channel is/was one of our favorite theaters to fly, outside of the Pacific Carrier ops.  This is an early cut of a video I made and lost.  This does not have all the footage, marked by some blank spots.  It is also very low res, the final cut was in HD. I had some key footage & events int those spots added later, unfortunately that version is no longer in existence.  This version, as it is, is all that is left.  Use your imagination.  The final blank spot is of course where the BF109 gets shot down.  It is also missing the final audio speech by Churchill and all the credits.

Made using IL-2: 1946 with several mods, mostly the HSFX package.

Enjoy, let me know what you think.  I intend on a redo when the Normandy map drops.

Do we have a video thread somewhere,  or is the public channel pretty much it?

I intend on also getting some of the track files from DCS and maybe start a movie project for the group.  Anyone have any mission recordings that would make for a good story line? I know SeaQuark did one recently with the P-51 mission.
