Title: Off Topic - Fishing Baits

Heading down to the pan handle the first week of September and hoping to get some fishing in. I really want to focus on mangrove snappers. Hoping doggy or two-late have some experience with these.
In the past I've use cigar minnows and cast into the cement bridge pillars. What would you use?

Without gearing up with some fancy jigs or Berkley soft baits... I would put a little shrimp on the barbie and drift cast the Eddies on the incoming tides!!!  :glasses3:
