Okay, here's a long and drawn out Osprey thread I was reading this morning on BNN

The U.S. Navy is experimenting with three Marine Corps MV-22 Ospreys aboard the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) aircraft carrier to help it prepare for its own future variant of the Bell Helicopter Textron [TXT]-Boeing [BA] tilt-rotor transport aircraft.

Now I've seen it all!! The Navy is going to use that POS V-22 to haul cargo because it can fly at night and the Greyhound can't??!!! Give the C-2 pilots a damned flash light and send them on their way!! :BangHead:

I have seen them operate after dark many times, bad weather may be another story........................

Was present for this, After witnessing it for 2 plus weeks, Im a convert and think its great for a zillion reasons. If the COD pilots flew at night, youd find me sharing a cup of joe with the reactor officer as far away as possible.
