Title: Huey Question
Post by: AG-51_Glider on February 05, 2016, 05:31:20 PM
SO how do you guys have your control curves setup for the Huey? Do you have any curve in for the collective and if so how much? How much curve do you have in for the cyclic?

I am going to try the spring modification that Razor posted.

Per Chuck's Guide to the Huey: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3Q1Bjd3hsOTdBWUE/view?pref=2&pli=1

Cyclic Pitch Zero dead zone, saturation X = 100  saturation Y = 85  curve = 21
same for Roll
Yaw is zero dead zone 100 x 100 y curve = 14
Collective is the same as Yaw but curve = 11

Thanks Razor. Got it. Going to do the spring mod tomorrow and see how well it does.

That is certainly a good place to start. Once really into it you will "feel" if you need to further tune on adjustments due to your control and how heavy handed you are.
