CobraJ- I have purchased a new SSD and a 2TB hardrive. I want to replace my current D:Drive with the SSD and my E:Drive with the 2TB. I would like to be able to do so without having to reinstall programs that are located on either drive. Can I clone D for instance to the SSD and then reassign the new SSD as D: so that I can do this?
Thanks!

No it would have to be the same exact size drives. Ghost image our other retail imaging software would do what you want but they cost $$$

If it is a samsung ssd, it may come with imaging software you can download and use for free. Mine had it and it worked fine. My SSD Samsung 840 evo 500G.

Windows comes with imaging too but the drive has to be identical

The Samsung software can handle the different drive sizes and will optimize your computer for the ssd.
