Freakin Edit:.................... I can't get it to work in HSFX, in either Expert or non................ Cobraj or Fireball are going to have to see if they can work it............... I put it in my 4.12.2/ModAct 5.3 install and it works great, have not tried to take off and land on a Carrier yet, or see if little things like Hayrake work or not....................... Lots of nice skins to go with it too.............
Wow, this big beautiful beast is a bear to get on deck, you have to get much further off the port before starting the beam turn............ took me 7 tries before I got her on deck........... and that wasn't pretty either....

It's funny you should ask that seeing as how I got it working in HSFX 7.0.1 using jsgme.......................................
Disable all jsgme mods you have enabled
Install the SB2C Helldiver and AutoDiffMod into your jsgme folder.............
enable in this order
1. HSFX History Mod
2. Expert Mode
3. AutoDiffMod
4. SB2C HellDiver mod.....................
Bingo, Bango you should have the Beast in your game, it works for me using the 4.09FM that comes with the plane, I use the 4.10FM in 4.12.2/ModAct 5.3.... if you have problems let me know, and I'll redo it with 4.10FM (Flight Model)... as of now Hayrake does not work, I talked to Barnesy at il2freemodding about it and he has no clue what Hayrake is, but he's going to talk to Watson and they are going to try to implement it............ maybe, just maybe since we have it now Fireball can get it in the package....

Been flight testing. Here are some notes:
Stalls:
Landing Configuration no power: Mushes into the stall no break if rudder centered. 65 KIAS
Landing Configuration full power: Mushes unless pulled real hard or rudder not centered. Nose has to be quite high. 55 KIAS
Clean no power: Little bit of mush but will break if stick yanked or rudder not centered. 77 KIAS
Clean full power: Will break to right if not exactly coordinated. Nose has to be quite high. ~70 KIAS
Spins- if spin entered you have to be very aggressive on the recovery. Severl turns and power up to pull out.
Carrier Ops
Will launch pretty easily of Enterprise at 25 kts with no wind. Launched wih 100 fuel, 4 x 500 bombs, and 6 HVARs, with default she jumps right off.
Approach and landing- very similar to the Turkey. I used 75 KIAS and stuck it no problem. At 80 KIAS I was able to get it down but went long.
General comments:
Cannot go to gunner seat- pilot seat only
Bomb doors do not open using command. Just pickle the bombs and the doors will open, drop, then close just like in previous versions of IL2. Maybe this will work with 4.10 flight model?
Dive brakes/flaps- there are some weird anomalies if you are using brakes and flaps. If you deploy brakes then apply flaps and then retract brakes it will say they are retracted and the FM seems to match that but they still appear up. You have to retract flaps, then close the brakes and then they will appear closed.
Takes quite a bit of right rudder at power... almost the same as the F4U.

Landing speed was supposed to be 85KIAS............. good luck....lol.............. I can see if it loads and works with 4.10FM, but there may be issues with the Expert Mode......... not sure, we will have to wait for Fireball to weigh in on it's operation.

That is way too fast. 75 is about perfect and could go a bit slower than that. Will have to see about the 4.10 as that should be the one we are using and 4.10 FM's should work with Expert Mode.
I replaced the FM with the 4.10 FM. Work no problem but the issues are still the same.

I went and tested with 4.10FM and it works in HSFX 7.0.1 so I'm redoing the download. Once you have it just open the -4.10FM and replace the 4.09 file in your SB2C folder, but make sure you disable it first in jsgme........................ the new download has the 4.10FM installed by default, I also put the PaintSchemes/Skins/SB2C-Helldiver in the download too, just add those like you would anyother skins.
Going to see about Skyraiders and Late Corsairs next............

One more anomaly with the Helldiver; they spawn on deck with their wings spread with the Carrier Takeoff Mod enabled and with their wings folded with it disabled!!??

Yep they do........... Maybe it's something Fireball can look at........ I doubt if Barnesy and Watson at il2freemodders will try it they are 4.09 junkies and probably don't use HSFX and won't even try to fix it but I will tell them about it.

Got the SB2C working, thanks! Late Corsairs blows up for me at 70%.
Loadout for my SB2C is off a bit, only options are 2 X 250 or 2 X 500 in the bay, and either 250 or 500 on the pylons, with or without HVAR.
Where is the 1000? and where is the 1600 and the single options?

According to Hoss they are working the loadouts and will be including those in the next release. Remember this is still a Beta so not perfect yet. Still leaps and bounds better than the Turkey when it first came out.
And Fireball did not think it was a big deal to add Hayrake.

I just removed the downloads...........
I have the Helldiver, Late Corsairs and their static versions working, need to do the Skyraider (AD4) but I can't find a static file for it.
Should have it up again tonight or after I get home from work tomorrow.
It's going to be one big pack............ AutoDiffMod/Helldiver/Corsairs/Skyraiders in one pack.
